Festivals and Events in the Northern Avalon in Summer 2008, brought to you by Northern Avalon Members: The Killick Coast, The Admirals' Coast, and The Baccalieu Trail. Listing includes events occurring in towns all over the region during the Summer. There will be events that we are not informed about, so be sure to check with individual towns.

July-August - 4 days a week - Hawthorne Cottage National Historic Site “Live! On the Lawn" takes place at 2:00 pm on the Cottage grounds. The 20 minute plays reflect the life of Bob Bartlett, as well as the vibrant culture of Brigus. All revenue earned though on-site admission fees and giftshop sales is directly invested in preserving and presenting Hawthorne Cottage.

Carbonear - Symphonic Storytellers - Musical Theatre Day Camps for Children, ages 6-14
Using traditional and contemporary folk tales as scripts, Symphonic Storytellers add song, dance, music and action to retell the tale in these musical theatre day camps.
