Bryants Cove is a small fishing community with spectacular scenery. The community, which is one of the oldest in the province, has always attracted fishermen because of its good fishing grounds and its excellent beach for drying fish. During the 1700s the community grew rapidly as fishermen and planters arrived from Poole and Bristol in England, and from Ireland.
